Their hometowns are 30 miles apart, one is from lancashire and the other from yorkshire ( a historical rivalry ) and they both have enough fans outside of their own areas that anywhere in britain this fight could easily pack a stadium. ![]()

A come back would be surely be ideal,Ricky Hatton is an outstanding boxer he just gets caught up lunging in well in 2 cases were he was KO'd. Hatton was disposed of by two great boxers, whom I don't need to mention since they whine over negotiations unable to agree on a contract for a bout against each other, which could potentially gross multi millions in earnings.
![]() I like the Amir Khan idea ,but for a serious comeback he should consider a lesser opponent Ricky Fatton has been out the game for a while and we all know he's a hardcore drinker a Pub star, most likely not easy to reduce weight from all the Beer and Fatty foods consumed. But really it should be considered what the majority of the fans want since they are the ones to please. It would give Amir Khan even more credibility as a great champion enduring a tough Hatton fight. But to be truthful I think it's all about Mathew Hatton now, it's his time to shine, step out from his brother Ricky's shadow, his earned it. However if they do fight I predict a late round TKO for Khan overwhelming Ricky with speed as long a he avoids Ricky's onslaught of power, bulldoging attempts. As usual for Hatton to be successful he should work the body slow Khan down reducing his mobility in the ring. For more please ask Fight Expert Teddy Atlas

I don't think it'd be smart move, Hatton's not been active enough lately IMO, and Khan's handspeed would difficult to deal with..
Even seems like a bad fight for Khan, will beating Hatton endear him to the British public, could be a bit like Norris vs Leonard, you win the fight but it may not work in your favour with the public. Or is this just not a factor in the UK? I just would think that Khan's managment would try and keep their guy from becomming an anti-hero? |
