when im putting my body to the test running the beach, pumping iron, chopping wood or hitting frozen slabs of beef nothing motivates me more than:

"eye of the tiger"

&

"final countdown"

Survivor's eye of the tiger's good, as is the Rocky 'getting stronger' theme, but really like Led Zep, especially Kashmir, L.Cohen, the Doors- the end especially, J.Hendrix- watchtower, foxxy lady, kiss the sky, same with Eric Clapton, Kenny Roger's Ruby gets me thinking about my ex-wife and is great to finish with, Pink Floyd's ok and (keep it a secret) Boston's one big hit, whatever it is.
As for modern music, U2's OK, and I like some of Metalica's stuff, although I couldn't tell you the song's names, wrong- e.g. Turn the Page.
