Default Ken Shamrock needs to retire

Just watched his last fight and the shit was just sad. He got TKOed by a guy he would have completely ran over in his prime. He's now 46 years old and while he LOOKS good for that age, he's a complete shell of himself. For a boxing comparison, Evander Holyfield is far more impressive than he is.

Speaking of Shamrock's last fight, it took place down under. Those damn Aussies will sanction anything these days it seems.

Don't forget that the NSW commission wouldn't sanction Briggs vs Green yet they did sanction the Shamrock fight strangely enough, though I would imagine it would be two different commissions.
If Toney ends up coming down to fight Green (he said he wants $6m, doubt he'd turn down $4M though, which is what RJJ got) Australia will run the risk of becoming known as a place for legends that are past it to get one last pay day.

That entire card was on paper a disaster waiting to happen.

As for Shamrock, unfortunately, I don't think he will be retiring any time soon. I think the man is broke. Unlike Chuck Liddel, I get the feeling Shamrock really knows and has accepted that he is done, he just doesn't have that option. Not too long ago he sued the UFC over them owing him a fight or something and Shamrock lost and got stuck with Zuffa's legal bills on top of whatever money problems he had.

Damn dude wasted his prime in the WWE, sad.

He made Tito Ortiz' career. Cocky fuck based off 1 damn name on his resume who he never would have beaten pre-WWE.

Well maybe not one name, he did also beat Wanderlei Silva, Vitor Belfort, and Forrest Griffin. But Griffin corrected that mistake.
